The accommodation
The farm is located in the municipality of Barberino Val d'Elsa. Set in a strategic position between the two most beautiful cities of Tuscany, Florence and Siena, which can be reached in just 20 minutes by car, is characterized by the imposing manor house, the historic cellars dug into the tufa and the beautiful vineyards, observing which one understands how time is punctuated by rhythms different from those of frenetic city life. For three generations it belongs to the Cappelli family, which carries on the activity, with dedication, love and respect for the territory. Today the farm's production includes a rich range of fine nectars, labeled Chianti docg. The famous and traditional reds are joined by a white, a rosé, a prosecco and a vinsanto. The latter, the Divinum Chianti docg 2006, has jumped to the forefront of the news because it was chosen by Habanos, the most famous international manufacturer of Cuban cigars, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Cohiba cigar, the most expensive, iconic and famous of the world, on the occasion of the eighteenth edition of the Habanos Festival, which took place between the end of February and the beginning of March 2016. The estate also produces an extra virgin olive oil and an excellent grappa. Over the years, the farm has kept unchanged the family character that has always distinguished it: the production and sale of products is in fact directly followed by the owners, who combine tradition and experience with the most modern winemaking techniques.
