AgriCard: how it works (for the tourist)

1. AGRICARD: HOW IT WORKS

- How does the AgriCard work?

The AgriCard allows you to buy any product or service of the farmhouse that you are interested in, choosing among the participating facilities. You can find them all by visiting this page.

Once you have purchased your AgriCard you will receive an email from the address [email protected] with the unique code, the link with all the participating facilities and the expiration date by which you can use your AgriCard.

- What services can I use the AgriCard for?

For all the services offered by the farmhouse that you choose, e.g. accommodation, riding stables, restaurant, products, spa, etc. We recommend you to verify that the farmhouse that you choose has the service/product you are looking for.

- How much time do I have to use the AgriCard?

The AgriCard must be used within 18 months from the date of purchase. You can also use it to book an event successive to the expiration date. For example, if you have an AgriCard valid until 05/19/2021, you have the possibility to book a stay/event/service before 05/19/2021, even if the event is successive to the expiration date. In this case, you need to communicate your unique code to the farmhouse that you choose at least 24 hours before the expiration of your AgriCard, so as the farmhouse can validate and associate it to its facility.

- Is the AgriCard associated with a specific person?

No, you can purchase it for yourself or as a gift.


2. MANAGEMENT WITH THE FARMHOUSE

- At what point do I have to notify that I have an AgriCard?

The code of your AgriCard should always be communicated before the final payment of the services for which you want to use it. As the owner will have to validate it, you should communicate your intention to use it early enough to avoid any unforeseen circumstances. For services of the farmhouse that are subject to availability or require a reservation (e.g. use of the wellness area), please inform the owner that you would like to use the AgriCard at the same time of booking of these services.

- Do I need to book?

We suggest you check the conditions of each single farmhouse on Agriturismo.it. In any case, booking is strongly recommended to ensure that you can use the service/product you desire. For example, if you want to use your AgriCard for a dinner, it's a good idea to call the farmhouse to see if they have availability on the day you're interested in. Similarly, if you want to use your AgriCard for a stay, it is necessary to check that the facility has free accommodation and that your dates of stay are not shorter than the minimum stay required by the farmhouse.


- How do I pay at the farmhouse if the booking amount is higher than the value of the AgriCard?

In this case you pay part of the amount with your AgriCard and the rest with one of the methods accepted by the farmhouse.

- What happens if the value of the farmhouse service or product I want to buy is lower than the value of my AgriCard?

You can still use your AgriCard for more services during the same stay, up to its full value. For example, if I have a €100 AgriCard, I can use two €50 services during the same stay. However, make sure that you can use the full value of your AgriCard during your stay, otherwise you will lose the unused amount.

- Can I use the unique AgriCard code in a reservation made directly online?

No, at the moment the AgriCard is only valid for bookings made by email, telephone or in person at the establishment.

- Can I cancel my reservation after I have communicated my AgriCard code?

You can cancel or not your reservation according to the cancellation conditions you agreed with the owner at the time of booking.

 

3. POSSIBILITY OF USE

- Can the farmhouse refuse to accept the AgriCard?

The farmhouse cannot refuse to accept the AgriCard. Obviously, if a certain service is not available for the chosen period or if a booking cannot be accepted, the possibility of using the AgriCard also lapses. To avoid this situation, it is strongly recommended that you contact the farmhouse first.

- Can I also use the AgriCard to buy Special Offers or Last Minute offers that I see published on Agriturismo.it?

No, it is not possible to use the AgriCard to buy offers that have already been discounted. The offers cannot be combined.

- Can I use my AgriCard in two different facilities?

It is not possible to divide the amount of a single AgriCard on more farmhouses.

- Can I buy more than one AgriCard to use in the same facility for the same period?

No, it is not possible to use more AgriCards for one single stay.

- How do I receive the invoice for my AgriCard purchase?

The invoice for your AgriCard will be given to you by the farmhouse itself, as part of the total bill at the end of your stay.
