Salsomaggiore Terme (Parma)
The farm is in the green hills between Salsomaggiore Terme and Varano dei Marchesi. An old stone farmhouse in the heart of the valley designed by the stream Gisolo.
The certified organic farm is dedicated to the zootechnical use of cereals, the milk produced becomes an excellent Parmigiano Reggiano. They also produce cured meats, products of the undergrowth, wines from organic grapes.
Guests are welcomed in rooms with private facilities.
The kitchen serves traditional dishes such as tortelli with herbs, tagliatelle with mushrooms, cappelletti, meat and vegetables of own production. The desserts that cheer up the end of a meal are homemade.
You can take walks in the beautiful nature of the surroundings, mountain biking. 2 km away golf courses and public swimming pool.
With a short drive you can reach the castles of Scipione and Vigoleno, the thermal baths of Salsomaggiore and the Romanesque parish church of Contignaco. Within an hour the cities of Piacenza and Parma.
