Farmhouse holidays Arnaio il located in the hills of Gavorrano, near the hillside town of Giuncarico. The farmhouse has a garden with plenty of flowers and it is surrounded by an age-old organic olive grove. From the courtyard in front of the farmhouse you can enjoy a panoramic view right until the sea.
This small farmhouse in Tuscany offers two bedrooms each with a private bathroom. There is one triple room with a terrace, the pink room, and one a single room, the blue room. There are two double rooms, one of which with a terrace, the yellow room, and another one with a spacious bathroom with bath tub, the green room. The rooms are finely decorated with antique furniture.
In the restaurant you can taste local dishes like wild boar with olives, a meat stew called Scottiglia, tortelli with classic meat sauce, acquacotta, and other personal creations of the owner like a vegetable pie, dumplings with sage, tuna pudding and many others. The proper vegetable garden offers seasonal products and the meat is prepared with organic extra vergine olive oil of the farm. The olive oil can be purchased in different formats, as well as different kinds of marmalade and vegetables which are conserved in oil (artichokes, tomatoes, eggplant). You can taste home-made cakes and marmalades for breakfast.
The farmhouse Arnaio offers free Wi-Fi in the common areas downstairs and the price includes Italian breakfast. Dinner can be ordered upfront and is charged extra.
The Etruscan archaeological site of Vetulonia is only 5 km away, the beaches of Castiglione della Pescaia are at 20 min drive and the natural reserve Daccia Botrona is 10 km away, This place is a paradise for pink flamingos and many other bird species which can be observed from the look-out posts. Finally the warm welcome by the owners and their tips for trips in the beautiful Maremma area will make your holidays complete and unforgettable.
